Is that really a surprise? Pokemon is all about menus, items, sprites/models that barely move, and reading NPC dialogue to figure out how to travel around, all while a bunch of complicated and weird moves, stats, types, and mechanics are being thrown around. Pokemon may be casual AF most of the time, but it's a game for gamers. Pokemon Go is a game for non-gamers. It's gonna appeal to millions more people.
