Which Pokemon gives you the ''heroic'' vibe?
I don't know why, but Blaziken looks like he would take a bullet in the face to save an old lady
braviary
>>27121632
Lucario I guess. Even if I don't really like it.
Blaziken looks like an old lady
The Mumen Rider of the Pokemon universe.
>>27121632
aside from the obvious ones like lucario, gardevoir and espeon, Talonflame always gave me a similar feeling.
>>27121632
Greninja.
The ones canonically always helping out humans
>>27121632
Blaziken is indeed a very heroic pokemon
Chesnaught
>Its Tackle is forceful enough to flip a 50-ton tank. It shields its allies from danger with its own body.
>When it takes a defensive posture with its fists guarding its face, it could withstand a bomb blast.
>>27121632
Pic very much related.
>cares deeply for its friends
Dragonite. That big goofy thing hides power, just like Superman. It's great.
>>27121855
And family.
Golurk seems like something that would protect its master and others at all costs, and just tank hits left and right. I mean, it was created specifically for that purpose after all.
These are all great responses, but lets make it double: which pokemon gives you a villainous vibe
Both in pic related, weavile always gave me the vibe of being a thief, and pokemon like garchomp always seemed to me like they would destroy a city in a fit of rage.
>>27122198
OP here, liked the idea!
I think some obvious ones are Arbok and Koffing . Don't know why but Blastoise too
>>27123258
Fuck you my dobemon is amazing and loyal and would dive out of an airplane to save me if I ever fell out
>>27121687
>>27121691
>>27122136
Only good answers so far.
Why hasn't Lucario been posted yet?
>>27121632
He's a big guy and doesn't tolerate bullying.
>>27124010
It's already been mentioned twice.
I guess you can't expect Lucariofags to be able to read.
I find bisharp and arcanine to look pretty heroic.
Sableye is a litte shit I bet. Toxicroak has a menacing look too.
>>27122198
I don't know any that look heroic, but this guy was designed to look like a gang member.
>>27124051
>lucariofags
Bet you like chesnaughts design.
>>27122198
malamar
>>27121728
>ninjas
>heroic
You've been watching too much Naruto
Blastoise.
>>27124060
Sableye is a misunderstood hero, he's here to save us from stall
>>27124150
>king of stall
>saving us from stall
k e k
e
k
>>27124182
He's the best anti-stall mon, but people mistake his power for stall potential. As I said, misunderstood hero
>>27124208
>>27124150
That reminds me. I should probably replace my Spiritomb with a Sableye.
For some reason, it seems like the kind of pokemon to protect weaker mons from evil humans, it's odd I know, that's just the vibe it gives me.
>>27122198
Spiritomb, I mean the fucker is literally 108 spirits bound to a keystone because they were doing bad shit.
Lucario. I always use one that is proud of its power, and mega evolution just proves how it takes pride of its own strength and knows its limits. Lucario is truly the most heroic of all Pokemon.
I don't know why, but Heracross does feel like he'd fight for justice.
you guys are missing the real hero here
>>27123905
Fuck off Karen we all know it's you
>>27121632
pidgeot
Most fighting types give this vibe, especially Hawlucha.
Nidoqueen looks like she would protect defenseless pokemon with her life.
>>27124793
Its funny you say that, I always saw nidoking the way >>27122198 describes garchomp, its funny to imagine both clashing personalities in the nidos
Medicharm as wandering monk helping people
>>27124386
> it's odd I know, that's just the vibe it gives me
> Literally describes its entire existence in the Pokemon world.
wat
>>27124452
He's a beetle. That's probably it. He must be reminding you of Blade, Kabuto, and Stronger.
Saves Pokemon from freezing in the cold.
>>27125186
Congratulations, you got the joke
Seems like most fighting types give off that good vibe, is there any aside from scrafty and croagunk that give a villanous vibe?
>>27125452
Hitmonlee.
Scizor feels like a fearless hero that would get his hands dirty for the greater good.
>>27125808
this and Bisharp
>>27124452
>>27125187
Literally no hint in any game canon. Its dex entries dont say shit about helping others
>>27125452
These two seem like they will mock and tease other fighting types whenever they get the chance
>>27125452
>>27122084
Dad is a cuck
>>27128933
>babby's first use of the word
>>27127983
Well, I said fighting types, and koffing always gave me a goofy funny vibe, like he was an entertainer. Weezing on the other hand, always seemed like he wanted to die
>>27121632
You know that this hero is really a chicken, right? A giant chicken, i tell you!
Mandibuzz seems like a villain, like she's the leader of a crime sindicate or something elaborate like that. Maybe because of her hairdo, the fact she practically has makeup, and hergirth
>>27130241
Whoops didn't see fighting types, sorry
>>27125003
I like to imagine Medicham as the Pokemon equivalent of Impa from the Zelda games. A wise but mysteryous fighter that serves a greater good.
The Skyward Sword version in particular reminds me of Medicham.
>>27124081
I've always imagined Scrafty as the selfish anti-hero, with a shred of a heart somewhere deep down.
>>27123965
>only muh bros are heroic
>>27131315
its a very interesting concept, given how dark was the evil type for a while and gen V brought emphasis to the just aspect of fighting types, so it's typing fits with an anti-hero
>>27124089
Fuck no. Chesnaught is the worst design by far.
hydreigon is definitely a bad guy.
Sceptile is heroic
>>27122198
Alakazam looked pretty creepy evil to me as a kid, in a good way, I thought it was awesome and badass.
Apparently though it's supposed to be a benevolent counterpart to Gengar. After the first Mystery Dungeon game I can't see it as a bad guy.
But still, if you asked me twenty years ago I would tell you Alakazam is a villain.
>>27131682
Cringe.
Lati@s
>>27133536
I always thought Alakazam was meant to be a counterpart to Machamp, i.e. brains vs brawn
>>27134282
That too, but I'm sure they made the Gastly line part poison so it would be weak to psychic while also being strong against it, and both Gengar and Alakazam are trade-only third stages with similar stat distribution.
I suppose Machamp, Alakazam and Gengar were meant to be a trinity of sorts.
>>27134513
A Trinity where one is fucked completely by the rest and another has a clear advantage over the others, like the dark/ghost/psychic Trinity
