The execution of the idea just kinda felt a bit flat I suppose, or is just not all that intuitive.
It's suppose to become more energetically efficient/advanced with each addition but in a biologically mechanical (get it?) sense, which sort of necessitates the design-conservative progression

Honestly, I just love looking at Klinklang move.
Best animations.
Just wish the thing had a movepool.

Klingklang is probably the only time I'd say something like an angry face was required. Make the face a bit different and the whole thing won't feel as contrived.
Though to be honest that whole line was just based on GF wanting to promote the animated sprites.

If it was a one or two stage evolution, it would be so bad. Magnemite and Magneton were fine because they were a two stage evolution whose entire concept was magnetism. Making Klink a three stage evolution just makes it more obvious how lazy it is, it's like a shitty joke that's gone on for too long.

Gen V is my favorite gen, but they really fell flat on a lot of designs. Especially the legos.

Fuck you I was all over Klink when it came out. I fucking love gears and clockwork stuff and Klinklang was MY pokemon for that gen.

Then Cofagrigus Galvantula, Golurk and Chandelure got revelaed and it instantly became the best generation Dex for me.

I'm more pissed about the move pool.

Only boosting move is physical. Always has to run Gear Grind, Wild Charge, and Return/Frustration. Even Technician couldn't remedy its lack of coverage. It's one-dimensional, even more so than Cloyster.
