I don't understand, why is this getting so much hype? It's garbage without any of what made pokemon actually fun. Neat concept on paper, but christ this is nonsense and I can't believe so many people are eating it up with both hands.

When hype dies down a little they'll add in local battling and trading. Then they'll wait a little bit and throw in Gen 2. Everybody will be hype because new Pokemon and Gen 2 is nearly just as familiar to normies as Gen 1. I don't see this game having much of a lifespan after Gen 3 comes around though.

I'm having fun walking around and driving around. I took my nephew to the park and found out the park has both a hotspot, and a pokestop on it. Now we are gonna go every week and I only have to check my phone once I a while.
