Thinking of buying this. I loved GSC, and keep reading that the remakes are considered among the best in the entire series.
I've also never played gen 4, and I've been reading that it's really slow for some reason. Is this a deal-breaker?
And how do you feel about the removal of the slot machines?

Just turn off animations if you think it's slow, I find it okay.
Voltorb Flip is actually reasonably enjoyable for the first hour, but when you realise you can't just buy coins for prizes and you're stuck there for hours playing the damn thing you might get pissed off.
