Any tips for catching shinies in pokemon red? I have been trying

If you release a Pokemon that's level 100 it increases the chance by 25%. Other than that, hatch the egg under the truck. It's all luck from there.

Shinies were introduced in Gen 2 (Gold, Silver and Crystal) there are and never will be Shinies in the original runs of Pokemon Red, Blue or Yellow.
