Half the gym battles I do I get to the last pokemon, get them to a sliver of health, then the game just fucks up and they become invincible and eventually stop attacking, I can't attack anymore, I can't switch out pokemon, the timer runs out and nothing happens, what the fuck?

Not a single wild pokemon will appear if you're solely on GPS, rather than having wifi nearby to base location on. Not even connected to, just to use for reference.

Mon is kicked out when someone makes it faint

you can leave a mon if its full hp and there's a space in the gym. on a friendly gym you need to train until you elevate the gym level so you have a new spot for your mon. on an enemy gym you just knock them out

Bottom is your Stronger Special move. Think a fighting game super. You charge it up normal attacking. Once the bar is filled you hold it and unleash it.

I was driving down the street to a gym, I saw 2 girls, both tiny blondes, in their teens playing. My god were they attractive. This game is fucking epic.

Random encounter - a gym is in some strange parking lot. I pull in, and the parking lot is empty. It had a space for a pokemon to defend, so I needed to drop one off. A car pulls in right after me, we're both just idling in the middle of the empty parking lot. I had a shot at a 296cp clefairy, but my game fucking glitched and crashed. After 5 minutes, I drove away, and he pulled out just a few seconds after me. Tons of people playing from their cars. This shit is cash. It's only a matter of time before there are pokegroupies.

I'm an Applefag, there's jailbreak things that can spoof your location. You go into the faker app and turn it on and just move your icon around a map and your phone thinks it's there. So I move, go into Pokemon Go, look around, go back to faker app, move location a bit, repeat

Slowly walk towards him then we both share glances while holding out our phones. There's no auto-revive or auto-heal.

You have to use revives and potions on your fainted pokemon ot get them back up to full HP.

Only way to get more revives and pots is by going to PokeStops frequently and hoping you're lucky enough to get them instead of balls.

They aren't really necessary either way, but at higher levels, you do seem to encounter a wider variety of Pokemon, so being higher level is useful even if all you want to do is collect and not battle.

From what I hear the leveling is sorta like Fire Emblem.

So if you got Cubone it can go from "level" 1 to "level" 20, then you evolve it and it goes back to "level" 1, which can then jump to "level" 20.

So say you evolve Cubone at Level 5. Well now its back to level 1 and can then go to become a Level 20 Marrowack. But since you evolved it at level 5 it didn't get the CP from it's Cubone Level 6-20

So if you leveled Cubone to level 20 then evolved it, the Marrowak has effective level 40 when all is said and done

Of course, this is all hearsay. Haven't verified it for myself

It's just kinda shitty cause theres nothing in terms of pokestops for a half a mile, which normally wouldn't be an issue except that the local terrain is like 35 degree slopes for that entire half mile, at which point it flattens out and pokestops start appearing

The answer for both is that lures and Incese attract Pokemon that are nearby, but i'm pretty sure there is a chance to lure in rarer Pokemon. Don't quote me on that though. An incense basically increases spawns for nearby Pokemon

None of that sounds even slightly right. You can see the level of the Pokemon yourself in the bar behind the Pokemon. If it's 80% of the way to the end as a Cubone, it will be 80% of the way to the end as a Marowak, but if you catch a Marowak that has 80% of its bar complete already, it will be the exact same as the first Marowak.
