The only thing Fuchsia Gym did was have Venonat evolve into Venomoth. If you're talking about frozen counting as a loss, it happened already with Charizard and Snorlax was going to be called unable to battle until Ash commanded Rest and Greta went on to try and have Snorlax get KO'd. So Pikachu being called the same isn't exactly weird.

There has been no big blushing Serena from Serena after their argument. Until their is you can't say that Serena is still in love with him. Does this league have the most skipped/off-screen battles for Ash in the animes history? I know every league skipped or showed some of Ash's battles off-screen, but not to this degree.

Didn't Ash literally jump from Top 64 to semi-finals in 2 episodes, with us only seeing a brief fight against two trainers? So there must have been at least 2-3 other battles he had that were completely skipped too, right?

To be fair, we've probably reached the point where (outsideof a handful), many of the newer audience don't really care for/are aware of Ash's older Pokemon.

Granted it wouldn't hurt to have a 'trip back to Oaks' episode like they did post Hoenn, pre Battle Frontier to reintroduce them all again. The best we can hope for are the odd cameos in OPs and flashback episodes.
