How can I be productive with this game while sitting in my room.

Anyone else have a glitch where during a gym battle the opponents Pokemon stays at 1HP and you cant run, or it kicks you from the battle at GO, or as soon as the battle starts your first mon faints and there is only 6 seconds left in the battle? This has happened a few times at certain gym spots!

When the arch fills up, you can't power them up anymore. I don't think there's a CP cap based on how much CP they had to start with. I've heard a few people say that Pokemon you've personally evolved (as opposed to catching them fully evolved) have higher CP caps, but I don't know if that's true. I've heard it's better to evolve them first, then power them up, simply because you get a free power boost when you evolve. If you've powered them up too much first, you could waste some of that free boost because you'll hit the CP cap upon evolution.

Man, I wanna love this game but it's just a bit of a waste

first off, where do they get off making catching pokemon the way it is? just flicking balls at the pokemon like it's one of those "get the paper ball in the trash can" flash games from the early 2000s?

second, why the fuck would you take a basic, turn-based combat system that would work completely fine in this, and replace it with some retarded "tap until the enemy dies or you die, also swipe your screen and you can dodge sometimes" garbage.

It just seems like such a fucking blunder. Did the people who made the game ever play a pokemon game in their lives? why would you take out the things everyone knows and loves about pokemon and substitute them with things that are objectively worse.

I know it's a fad right now and my post will be buried under five "i-it'll get better" replies but i'm just disappointed man. Could have so much easily been better but they fucked around with it for no reason at all.

I have three friends who are exactly what you just described, and when we went out and tried to play this today they were all completely stupefied by not being able to battle their pokemon, battle random pokemon, etc. My friends were actually convinced that all our games were glitched out and that's why we couldn't battle our pokemon against random mons and etc

we did it for like an hour and it was novel for that hour, but when it all dawned on us that what we were doing was literally all the game had to offer, we all lost interest

You catch multiple of the same to get enough candy to evolve. You can transfer duplicates of the same pokemon to the prof for 1 extra candy.

Feels weird when you live in a rural area but can see a trainer taking on a gym near to you. Was over there a while ago but the game crashed so I couldn't leave a Pokemon. Whoever is battling is really giving the two that left Pokemon there a thrashing.
