My favorite type is Fairy and it pisses me off when everyone on /vp/ assumes it's because I'm a waifufag, when I'm actually just a fagfag who likes pretty pink stuff.

I can't decide between dark and flying. Dark because most of my bros are dark types, and the typing itself lends onto very different and original concepts and also because muh edge and shit, its pretty badass, and flying because of the concept of the freedom of flight, the fact I generaly love birds, and that gliscor exists, and is perfect in every way.

Grass has 5 weaknesses, 3 are to extremely powerfull ofensive types, and only two usable defenses. Ice is weak to 4 types, and 2 are extremely powerfull ofensively, has no usable defenses. They are pretty on par, but you must also account for the fact having more weaknesses worsens type synergies, so grass has a slight disadvantage objectively speaking. That is also speaking for the type, not its pokemon

Water or Dark. There's so many great dark type mons, yet no gym leader. Water is just so chill, and I love swimming, fishing, and generally being around it.

Poison and Bug

Poison is so interesting and cool, and it can be in many forms.

Bug is just good because insects are very unique and cool animals, bees being super important and all.

It undeservedly gets a lot of shit, grass Pokemon would be really deadly if they got a hold of Earth Power in the same fashion that Water types get Ice Beam.

Electric. I enjoy Speedy pokemon, and electric types are fast as hell and have a nice mix of special and physical offense, and solid design work. The Pikachu line, the Electivire line, the Luxray line, the Joltik line, the Heliolisk line, the Ampharos line, are all top tier, not to mention Jolteon, Zapdos, Raikou, Zekrom, etc. It's the nice balance between cute and cool designs for pokemon, and it's got lots of great options. Kind of makes it one of those quintessential pokemon types for me

I love Electric. Lightning and electricity in general has fascinated me since at least 3 or 4 years old.
Also Yellow is one of my favourite colours.

I like Fairy a lot as a close second, I like all the mythical themes for Pokemon and cute things that have come out of it, and it doesn't hurt that it's so good.
Also I like purple a lot.

Fighting. Besides the outright humanoid ones, it has a lot of variety design-wise. Mienshao and Breloom are also my top two favorite Pokemon.

Ghost types.

They're always cool abstract designs based on spooky legends, or even mundane stuff like lamps.

Even the cute ones like Drifloon have a hilariously macabre side to them.

The way that Ghosts and Normal types are completely unable to interact with eachother is a neat concept, too.

I like that they're not based on just death, but are more linked to the concept of anti-matter or mythology which is a bit vaguer than other types.

Competitively they're also typically very useful and good at what they do, or have niche strats you can pull off pretty decently.

They're pretty based.

Dragon here followed closely by rock. I love dragons, dinosaurs, and reptiles. Pretty much anything that looks like a lizard I enjoy. Tapu Koko is a random one that I love for being super weird and refreshing.
