What things should I randomize to guarantee that I have a terrible time.

Evolutions
Base stats (totally random, so that your kickass special attacker could evolve into something with base 30 special attack)
Trainer's Pokemon totally and with legendaries included, but wild Pokemon to similar strength/no legendaries
Movesets and TM/HM learnsets, but don't do the thing where you get a guaranteed damaging move or a high chance of STAB. Just nuke it entirely.

Anything else is added flavor if you want.
