Sometimes the vents that happen in one game may look "better" than the ones happening in the other.

Having Lysandre becoming immortal but being trapped under tons of subble in X can seem more ironic than him just being dead in Y.

Preventing Hoenn from being flooded Moses-style and diving with Kyogre at the bottom of the sea can seem more logical than preventing the world to become like a mix of Tatooine and Geonosis and jujst walking through lava on Groudon's back.
