Will GF ever re-remake the Gen 1 games? FRLG are great but

If they did do a Gen 1 remake I'd hope it would be less like FRLG, which don't even let you get new evolutions of the original pokemon until the postgame. Maybe sprinkle in some newer pokemon here and there, add new Areas to Kanto, etc.

I'd rather have sequels that take place in Kanto than another Gen 1 remake though, especially with how overdone Vanilla Kanto is.

Honestly the sprites, music, and general nostalgia are the only reason I play through gen 1 games so I probably wouldn't even buy a Kanto remake

I sure as fuck hope not.

We have had Kanto shoved down our throats for 5 out of the 6 gen's.

I don't want any more Kanto unless it's a 10-20 year time skip after the events of GSC

No, Gold and Silver take place in Johto with a watered down Kanto as an Afterthought.

If we were to ever revisit Kanto as the main region in a game, I'd like a sequel that actually adds to it, not takes away.
