I went into the game blind near when it first came out so it was a fun ride for me, but the whole fandom doesn't bother to cover up spoilers, everything is so out in the open and its so much based in story over gameplay that if someone saw tons of stuff about it and said "Hey I want to play this game everyone seems to love it" there probably wouldnt be much in it for them

Anyway the worst part about Alphys in Genocide is that she doesn't do the thing that she and Undyne specifically arranged for her to do: contact Asgore and have him absorb the human souls so he can kill you if Undyne fails. There's only mild implication that she got some people to safety, possibly in the True Lab, but then that becomes pointless because Chara implies that you just kill literally everyone in the end.
