I picked X. Plenty of great Pokemon to pick from.

Check the exclusives on Serebii. If you don't care about any of them, then just go with the legendary you like more: Xerneas or Yveltal.

Eh. We know the ultimate weapon is powered by life force. Xerneas is spontaneously generates life energy. Since the legendary is used to power the weapon, it kind of works pretty well both ways.

I liked both legendaries and just picked Y cause i liked CharizardY more.
If you plan on buying ORAS that wont matter though cause you'll get both CharizarditeXandY but only after the Kyogre/Groudon story

Also never realized it, but Xerneas being the energy source and Yveltal representing the actual laser is also shown in their moves, with Xerneas being a boosting move and Yveltal being, well, a laser

Probably the notion that since Yveltal's signature attack is a laser and its the death Pokemon when Flare's goal is to shoot a giant laser to cause lots of death.
