Should the Ranger series make a comeback?

I really like the premise of actively helping pokemon and their habitats as your job. It doesn't have to adhere to the DS controls.

I would love a game where you don't need to control pokemon at all, they voluntarily help you after you prove them you mean well. Maybe the featured device could make you comunicate with Pokemon.
