Having been a Pokemon fan since Red and Blue, when this song came on for a final surprise battle with Ghetsis, to me it took Pokemon to a whole new level. This was not some bad guy who was a dumb idiot, this was a true evil genius who took a true moral and ethical issue in the Pokemon universe and completely used people who in many respects could be seen as right, for getting what he wanted. The exact opposite the whole team was fighting for. He used them all and spent years doing it.

The song was nothing like any Pokemon game before or after it. It was powerful, epic, and most uniquely. Slow. The music from Black and White along with the sequals in my opinion is some of GF's best by far.

Colress was definitely something original, I did enjoy it, reminded me of some of my favorite games form N64 including Stadium and Stadium 2 remixes and other non Pokemon titles.

I agree, he is so far my favorite villain in all of Pokemon. That's what I feel makes Black and White so special, it was a game where the Pokemon challenged it's own universe. Like, why are we using pokemon like this? And in the end it was be cause of the "bond" we have. A feeling Ghetsis tried to take advantage of in arguably good people to then make himself an uncontested leader, completely psychologically implanting this cult-like mentality in people like N he took in as a child. He as a character is so complex, and authentically participate in issues that are very dark and real, it makes the game so amazing and highly underrated.

You posted some good songs that I definitely enjoy, but N's theme is still, unironically, my favorite battle theme in all of Pokemon.

The typing adventure song that everyone points to gets very wearisome for me. It's too intense for its own good, with no real bridge or build-up beyond the intro. Also, don't know what you mean about it being a random clash of sounds. The typing adventure song is really not, by any stretch of the imagination. I detect maybe three or four layers at any point in time, and they're all running pretty smoothly. N's theme is more imaginative and intriguing.

The legendary theme is good, but not N levels of good. At least it has the build-up and is equally dynamic.

It's so great. This song perfectly conveys what Kanto in GSC/HGSS is all about. Without team rocket's constant meddling and attacks Kanto is just a nice, peaceful rural region. (bye bye a go-grunt is minuscule enough to not skew this mood)

They had Type Boss adaptations that were well fitting to each type most of the times like chill Psychic and menacing but sober Ghost or a more energetic Rock one that sounds almost like a classical piece with cannonballs and drums, Steel theme used instrumentals reminding of iron beating, Ice has lot of tension and drama too, Ground has lot of drumming, probably reference to the shaking battlefield sounds, lovely mix of adventurous themes and Japanese marriage between folk and modern beats. Arceus intro is definitely glorious and deserved considering it had a central role in the game. The games might have been boring after the main campaign and annoyances but the OST is an underrated gem:
