Based on what we have had revealed to us, there are about 31 confirmed new pokemon including their evolutions and about 32 confirmed old pokemon including their evolutions thus far for the Alola Regional Dex.

It's going to come down to whether SuMo has a regional dex like Kanto and Kalos or if it goes the way of Hoenn. Kanto and Kalos only had a regional dex of 150 pokemon but Hoenn had a regional dex of 200 pokemon.

Considering that we're roughly half-and-half thus far, pray that we have a Hoenn dex since otherwise, if Kanto/Kalos size, we've had 42% of the dex revealed to us already.

do you really want another BW dex where GF has to purposely create a large handful of shitmons to create a balanced gameplay experience? at least when you have games like alola, you can use previous shitmons already created in their place, so the new ones can be better off

Kalos dex's new pokemon were only 16% of the entire dex.

Pikachu line is 3 slots.
Caterpie line is 3 slots, but also means that we'll have Weedle, which is another 3 slots.
Ledyba line is 2 slots, but also means that we'll have Spinarak, which is another 2 slots.
Meowth was spotted in a release video in the OW, so that's another 2 slots.
Salamence was in the Zygarde video, so that's 3 slots.
In the Magearna reveal we had Krookodile (3 slots), Pangoro (2 slots), and Eevee (9 slots).

Right there, from those videos that we've seen, we have 32 pokemon confirmed from old regions appearing.

Hmm...a lot of people complained that there where too many old pokemon in kalos,and very few new ones,i think some of my friends didn't even finished the game because too many old and pandering...its going to be like BW2 probably,i think even GF knowledges that kalos dex is a mistake.
