Introduce a flying type sound based move with low accuracy but high power, similar to hurricane boomburst. With bug buzz butterfree is now a better choice for bypassing subs and sleep.

Ariados:
A third stage with better stats, possibly bug/dark. Better niche moves for bugs, they should have the best multi-hit moves. It also has access to great entry hazards, so maybe some kind of bug reflect/light screen to make it a better support and allow it to set up easier. "Protective Web"

Ledian: Evolution with better stats. Maybe even bug/fighting with iron fist still. Give a signature bug punch move with a side effect like a high chance to flinch.
