A friend of mine and I were debating over which game was more luck-based: Competitive Pokemon or Hearthstone?

Pokemon has misses, critical hits, and speed ties. Kind of a rock paper scissor meta.

Hearthstone has random targetting, random minion summons, draw order of course and is very swingy; games can be won on a coin flip more often than you'd think.

Which game is objectively more competitive and skill based?
