I'd make an argument for Defiant or Vital Spirit Primeape over Lucario. Looking past the Special stat, they are relatively the same attack-wise.

A Pokemon that is resistant to sleep or Intimidate is nice for in-game runs if you ask me.

Next change is I'd swap out Pangoro for a Scrafty. I just think Scrafty does the job Pangoro does, but better.

You can get Gallade at 20. Chesnaught's a typical Starter evolution level but he still becomes Fighting.

Now, a Dragon team in XY would be feasible and easy to make since they're all Dragons form the start, unless you want to use Flygon or Kingdra.
