Pokémon should be more simple but people aren't complaining about simplicity. They are complaining about that stupid "modern" cartoon art that has been plaguing Pokémon lately.

Using bird Pokémon as an example, see Fletchling and compare it to a Pidgey or a Spearow. It's like comparing a stickman to an actual human being. It's a gross representation of a bird. A cartoon made by a child. Something you'd find drawn in a fucking cave wall. A circle with stick feet and a weird body and big eyes. It's just a bunch of shapes thrown together.

People want Pokémon that look good with nice little details like real feathers in birds, not shit like Fletchling and, to a minor degree, Pikipek. Stop missing the point on purpose trying to stir shit up.

I'm so sick of this meme. Fletchling is an accurate depiction of a Japanese Robin. Meanwhile, hardly any bird has huge dinosaur feet like Pidgey, dumb genwunner.
