Like Tyrantrum with the elemental fang attacks, most multi hit moves will likely be egg moves for it.

it's the same reason why clauncher and the squirtle line got dark pulse and aura sphere. Or why heracross got rock blast, bullet seed and arm thrust.

It's just to justify the ability. I'm assuming with woody the sudowoodpecker here, it'll get a bunch of multi hit moves to justify it getting skill link
