if there was one thing that hampered immersion for me in gen 6, it was the awkward blend of 3d pokemon and 2d anime trainers. im so glad they stepped it up

really enjoyed the demo. people are screaming casualization but honestly it's not like we don't all have the type chart memorized by now. if they give away weaknesses for pokemon you haven't encountered yet, then I agree that's a problem, but either than that it's not changing how I play the game.

love the new pokemon designs and the fact we can see stat changes in battle. this game looks great

and they finally got rid of the BATTLE CIRCLES.

I actually have no problem with this as I often forget a lot of the super effective match ups after the introduction of the Fairy type.

Same. Plus, the game only give you type effectiveness on Pokemon you've already seen.

So if you meet a brand new poke that you haven't seen before, the game gives you nothing and I think that's a nice touch.

Yes. After you've met the Pokemon. Plus, by this point in time, everyone would either know the effectiveness by heart or have a chart handy, so it shouldn't matter at all.
