Gen VI skipped Wi Fi challenges like Gen IV's Wi Fi room on Battle Tower and Gen V's Wi Fi Train in Battle Subway. Will Alola's Battle Resort/Battle Hotel/Battle Volcano bring it back? It was fun to play against AI-controlled other players sets.

Indeed it was Gen 5 that removed the Battle Frontier, but they at least replaced it with something cool (PWT). On PWT you can even have Rental Battles and battles with switched Pokémon (I want this to be a facility in case of Battle Frontier's retun)

I mean to say that XYORAS didn't have a third version and ORAS was rushed as it was. Nothing is guaranteeing that it isn't coming back eventually.
