Those Pokemon sound very hacked and could contain deadly viruses. If you try to use one you'll get a blue screen and your 3DS's alarm will go off indefinitely and you'll lose every save datum you have.

The only surefire way to see if a Pokemon is hacked is by trying to put it on the Pokemon Bank. If it was fucked with, such as illegal abilities, moves or met location, then it will decline it. But many hacked Pokemon nowadays are pretty much identical to legit ones

On one hand, it seems weird for so many Pokemon to have been level 100, but on the other hand, if he was cheating, why not make them all level 100? There seems to be no rhyme or reason to why a Pokemon's 100, other than that he liked them/used them for his story.

I have a few files similar to that without hacking. Trading over exp shares when you restart a save file is pretty standard, and getting mons to 100 is easy.

I tried transfering some hacked Pokemon from White to Bank and it wouldn't let me until I removed the illegal moves. Other than that, it didn't matter. That only matters from pre-Gen6 transfers--you can transfer illegal moves from Gen 6 to Bank (I have a Quiver Dance Dedenne in my bank right now). It won't matter at all whether they were hacked or not.

You can test them by transferring them to gen 6 using the Poketransporter.

There is a hack check that occurs when you transfer them. If they make it through it means they are legal. There isn't a test for legitimacy because if the hacker did the job right, you won't be able to tell.

I'd just check for logic errors in the hack check. Things like, does he have in 5th gen mons in 4th gen only apricorn balls.
