I always recommend using Pokemon that you don't like/haven't used before.

My W2 run was 4/6 never used Pokemon.

It's hard because BW2 has a LOT of good pokemon to choose from, Obviously getting Lucario early is great, Scolipede is good, Darmanitan early-mid is a treat, Whimsicot and Liligant are both good in their own ways, and you can get an Evee pretty early is great too, and opens up a lot of options. Honestly just look up the list for White 2 and pick and choose what looks cool to you, it's my fav gen mostly because of how many good, useable pokemon are in it.

black 1? then play black 2 for some consistency in the story or N will show up in reshiram in W2 when you are the one that captured him in black, to give you an example
also choose a different starter and use different mons from your b1 run, that helps
