I didnt expect a lot of new Pokemon. It would be cool to see more alternate evolutions again. I think Kukui referencing rare Pokemon could mean there will be a lot of older legendaries in Alola

It's almost as if you fuckers don't seem to notice the whole even generations have fewer Pokemon and odd generations (7 is an odd number) get a lot of Pokemon

I think the reason why we got less Pokemon than usual in X and Y is because they had to make all the 3D models, and also with the introduction of Megas. In Sun and Moon I'm guessing they'll add between 90-110 new Pokemon and 15-30 new Megas.

That pattern really hasn't been around long enough to be that set in stone. It's more of a natural result of the ebb and flow of things, but the environment right now is different enough to disturb this general trend - for example the introduction of Mega Evolutions, other generational trends breaking (BW2 in Gen 5 instead of a traditional third version, no Z version despite events such as the movie seeming to be building up to such a thing), as well as the sheer number of Pokemon we've reached at this point.

I was fucking ready to be a fairy main, but god damn dissapointed.

Like, really, the only good designs for fairy are diancie and sylveon. everything else is fucking stupid, and I don't even mean in the "ugh, it's girly" kind of sense, 'cause I would've loved more gardevoir-styled mons (even though garde being fairy was pulled out of their asses), but not GOD DAMN FOOD, PERFUME, AND KEYS.

Like, I don't think they shouldn't exist, but I can't believe they're the closest to represent the type itsself.

I really love the fairy type, but I have to agree. Part of my hype for Sun and Moon is the idea that more "fairy-esque" fairies will actually be a thing.
