>Opponent's last Pokemon is a Choice Scarf Excadrill
>My last two are a Manaphy at around 50% and an AV Tornadus-T
Set it up this way because locking himself into EQ lets Tornadus-T win, and locking himself into Iron Head lets Manaphy win
>His only option is to go for Rock Slide which doesn't KO either mon at the health they're at
>Manaphy gets flinched and gets 2HKO'd
>Send out Tornadus-T because I can Knock Off > Superpower for the guaranteed kill and Rock Slide won't knock me out
>Tornadus-T gets flinched and gets 2HKO'd
Pokemon would be perfect if flinching and full paralysis didn't exist. The speed drop from paralysis is enough of a hindrance. They're neither fun mechanics nor fair ones.
You're just a sore loser.

It sounds like he made the smart play by not locking himself into a move that would make him lose no matter what and instead picking a move with a good flinch chance. That's half the reason to take rock slide over stone edge on any pokemon, and you've just gotta accept that RNG is part of pokemon. Knowing when to trust chance is part of being skilled at the game, and if you're thinking in terms of "he must do one of two things! CHECKUMATU!!!" then you need to step up your game. Full paralysis also is one of the few things with even a hope of hindering stallmons.
