So with the S/M starters looking so shitty I though why not transfer a level 1 from X/Y and use that as my starter.
I have always wanted a Ghost starter, but my all time favorite Gengar does not evolve unless you give him away, even if I trade my haunter for another I would be getting one with shitty IVs
same thing goes with Pumpkaboo which was my second choice.
Here is where Mismagius comes in.
It has dam good stats and you can evolve it at level 1 (with dusk stone). So I hatch a Misdreavus and evolved it at level 1 into Mismagius, it has perfect IVs and I plan to use it as my main poke in the game. I already TM the attacks I want it to have, speedy glass cannon build.
Anyone else tired of the grass/water/fire starter types?

Why would you evolve it right away? It's not really fun having a fully evolved pokemon right from the beginning that can wreck everything in sight.
But, whatever. You can play however you like.

Box your starter and play through the game with new alola Pokemon. Having an IV/EV trained mon with egg moves is going to make things easy. And then you'll come back crying that SM held your hand too hard.
