I don't care if you hate Hoenn but you're deluded if you think it doesn't have the best engine. The only games to have almost no loading screens and runs at 60 fps.

Give the person in the Orange house a proper garden and not this catastrophe of a yard that looks like nobody took care of it in a few years.
Try to arrange the houses around at least somewhat straight roads.
Give the people a Village Square or something.
Unless you are meant to obtain Surf in the village, remove the Waterway towards the cave, otherwise it'd be just a pointless backtrack Object nobody remembers unless you can catch some legendary in it.

Only core issues with the Gen III engine like slow battles, no Day/Night, and grandfather shit like no Physical/Special split.

FRLG are the best remakes.
