The blue-ish black and deep red scream oil or magma, while all the other fire starters are orange/yellow/light red like standard fire.

It needs a design that takes advantage of the former colour scheme better and maybe incorporates those things its reminiscent of. Also the head could be less square and the whiskers are pretty ugly.
