I've been itching to get back to Minecraft. Lately I've been mapping the regions for Gens I-IV (plus the Ranger regions, and maybe Orre and the island from Pokemon Snap) for a large and comprehensive map of Pokemon Japan. What exactly are the settings on the server? Haven't actually joined because I haven't bothered to reinstall Crayfish on my new machine, and seeing shit like stone brick, ice, and sea lanterns used so liberally makes me wonder if people are really grinding for all that material. Same deal with seeing NPC shopkeepers inside structures that haven't spawned naturally.

We basically build everything from scratch. The only thing we ask mods for are NPCs and spawners for mystery dungeons, but everything else is gathered manually.

Some being one person or a collection of people just helping out fellow people on the server to get materials.
You'd be surprised how dedicated people are to gathering and building shit, see Axx for example building a huge city as well as community builds that we all participate in.
eUlq was a single builder that put heart and soul into one town alone for a good long time to get even one person to come move in, and even accommodated by building a nether route to it due to how far out the town was.
Moonruin was a collection of people, yes some maymayish due to shills but they made a great looking Mesa town that people loved.
I know I'm missing a few more but all and all everyone is always willing to provide for each other to make the server better and still keep it all natural non-creatively built.
(Besides from spawn of course that was provided by Gary and Rowan.)

So I've been using the Pixelmon launcher, and it seems to want to use Forge 1.8.9-11.15.1722 instead of -.1808 despite having dropped the correct version of Forge into the launcher. Because of that it won't run the Crayfish file in the OP, and in turn I can't join the server. The Launcher itself isn't allowing me to select the appropriate Forge version.

I think Laputa will be too big. Since I'm bad at spheres I was just copying one sphere, and would make some more than a half of it, then build the walls above it and so on.
I will need more temple blocks, ;_;.

Also, if somehow I finish this thing, how do I get a bronze Snorlax statue? It would represent the robot/golem. Maybe I'll just place a regular iron golem.

Why not use a Golurk statue? Snorlax isn't very robot-y.

both disappointed and relieved you aren't going to build pic related on cumtropics. made my main house there because it's abandoned and a comfy place to hunt for slowpoke shines. feels lonely sometimes but it's got beautiful scenery and i only stop in for a bit every now and then. probably going to flower/grass the fuck out of the main island seeing as nobody is doing anything with it right now. it would be cool if you did decide to go ahead with your project as long as you respected the houses/islands already established there. what you should definitely do is build a whole new island within viewing distance, preferably on the waterfall island side so i can view it from my balcony. if you decide to go ahead with the project i can donate some materials.

Yeah, I wanted to build it on cumotropic on a start, but there are too many flaws fir that specific project.
I just finished the base a week or so ago, so I wanted to take a time after that, but I'll build something there, for sure, thought I'll continue building there after I get tired from Laputa, so I can do other stuff to take a break from it and then continue.

I'm still on time to do what you said, to build Laputa next to cumotropic, but I wanted an isolated place without nothing around it. Also, after taking some measurements I think that Laputa will take 8x8 chunks, or even more.
I'm almost sure that I won't complete it at all.
