Number one Pokemon are animals and should be ambiguous. No animals look masculine or feminine except in the context of its own species. No one would look at pic related and instantly know or assume its female if they've never heard of a lion before. Female animals are as gritty as males are. It's a fucking hag Madge, now matter how much you want it to be Mismagius 2.0. There's a big difference between a hag and a witch. Mismagius is more Sarah Jessica Parker in Hocus Pocus. Delphox is more of that hag in the live action Robin Hood with Kevin Costner.

tl;dr: Most traditional witches are haggish and hideously ugly. It's a good design.

The only bad fire starter is base Charitard, though. Mega X is somewhat salvageable and Mega Y is great, at least.

Fennekin is cool, easily the best base starter from gen 6.

How is it better? Delphox's fur just looks like regular wizard robes.
