Gamefreak suddenly announces that for Pokemon Sun and Moon, they decided to remove a number of Pokemon from previous gens. They decided to focus on removing the "lesser-known" Pokemon. They would not be available at all in the game, since the data would be removed completely, although they might make an appearance in future games.
How would this make you feel?

That would be a PR suicide for them. I wouldnt buy the game out of principle no matter which Pokemon they decided to remove.
