You have to look at it from XY as a whole. For the majority of the journey he's been this hyper competent trainer, perfectly in snyc with his team, an amazing tactician, essentially at the apex of his game. And then the game changed. He gained a unique ability but he can't control it. any strategy he makes can be instantly invalidated when he faints or it doesn't activate, it takes just as much of a toll on him as it does on greninja and sense he can't control it it's like he's burdening him.

In the gym match he was being sloppy as he felt he had to show shota he hadn't fallen behind while winning fast enough to not faint. He fails at both on top of legitimately losing.

Falling that far would make anyone feel worthless.

All the way up to Battle Frontier, yes. The full Pokemon World is a standalone single, the others are spread across three discs.

Though you'll have to hit jewtube for the full Born To Be A Winner and Unbeatable. This Dream also lacks a full version.

Post Battle Frontier you'll have to settle for movie rips save for Diamond and Pearl and Be A Hero. The full version of the former was only used in an episode and the latter never got a full version.

If the episode doesn't start with Serena and the rest going to find Ash, then Serena having found him and fails to save his smile I'll be disappointed.

From the look of things from the previews we get the layout of the episode is:

>Storm brews and Ash takes shelter, Serena/Bonnie Clemont go back to find Ash or take shelter

The ending of the episode is what I'm really looking forward to. Especially depending on how the Serena/Ash interaction goes. If he's rude to her I could see an apology directly to her and then one to the whole group for disappearing.

But if Ash meeting with the group doesn't happen with Bonnie/Clemont/Serena outside of the Pokemon Center then Ash and Greninja walking up the path he left from I'll be disappointed.

Have we considered that Serena and the others try to search for Ash twice? Once with Serena meeting Ash before he goes deeper into the woods, and sometime later when it is getting late again, at which point a snowstorm hits and they have to take shelter

Is it strange I went from not caring for Serena much in the first year of XY, to her becoming one of my favorite characters of the anime over the last two? TF arc ends with Alan promising to see Ash at the Pokemon League.

Pokemon League comes around and Ash makes it to the finals after beating Shota in the semi's. 6v6 budget blowing 3 part battle between Ash and Alan that blows everything we've ever seen the Pokemon anime do before.

Ash Greninja and MegaZard X are the final 2 Pokemon remaining, MegaZard X lands a Thunder Punch which knocks Gekkouga unmoving onto the ground and Ash on his knees.

Ash is feeling his conscious dimming, knowing that he can't go on any longer and just before Syncro collapses he hears Serena's voice scream shout to him "Don't give up and fight till the end Ash!"

Ash has flashbacks of every trial he had to overcome in his journey at that moment. Past Leagues, Syncro, Infernapes Blaze, Charizards taming, etc. In that moment he thinks "We can't give up, WE CAN'T GIVE UP!" Ash and Greninja rise to their feet as one Ashs eyes matching Greninjas and the two proceed to achieve 200% form Ash Greninja.

With new strength and speed Ash Greninja and MegaZard X put on a battle the likes of the Kalos Region has never seen before. With each attack that lands on Ash Greninja Ashs jacket and hat tear. With one last "TSUBABAGUSHIN!" MegaZardX gets shot into the wall and de-Mega Evolves.

Ash is declared winner and Kalos League champion and he and Greninja proceed to pass out on the ground.

Ash learns that the Champions League will be taking place in a little over a year, so in that time he decides to go challenge one more regions Pokemon League to prepare himself.
