>create pokemon plushie series
>have some device inside of them that sends out a signal
>or, alternatively, a barcode or some shit that could be scanned
>create a cheap pokedex with a small screen
>or just a pokedex app or something
>have the pokedex be able to store data of what pokemon plushies you've found
>kids could buy them to add them to their collection, go to their friends houses to scan each others
>autistic manchildren could also participate
>release new pokemon plushies in waves
>kids would eat that shit up to add it to their collection
>they'd sell like hotcakes
Why hasn't Nintendo done this?

Someone, like a comic book shop, could gather them all and allow people to scan his barcode for 1$ = profit out of dex completing.

So the worst case scenario is that we meme a pokemon black market into existence? Sign me up.
It's doable with nfc technology. Chips cost pennies these days.
There needs to be a life-sized charizard plush. He isn't even that big and if you're not worried about having your room look cringey it'd be a nice addition to it.
