Alright, I'll bite. How? Personally I felt like it was a bland circular region that had nothing new to offer, fed off of nostalgia (Snorlax section, Santalune Forest, etc.), had shitty pacing after the first two gyms and only a few locations that I actually enjoyed the presence of, like the rainy Goodra route. Also had a metric shit ton of areas that have literally nothing going on or don't do anything, like the train station area of one useless town (Couriway?) and most of the power plant. The badlands in general were bland and also shitty from a gameplay perspective, and Lumiose was not my cup of tea at all even if you ignore the camera issues, the """""""power cut""""""" and all of the other bullshit.

With that being said, I'm willing to hear you out. Why would you rank Kalos so highly?
