Its more of a Samurai that covers the movement of the horse(as otters irl are primarily quadrupeds). If Samurott was only the horse, it wouldn't even have the white facial hair(a feature from warriors) and the swords.

He really can't draw them at all and they're actually longer than their sheaths, they have to use camera tricks to make it look remotely plausible. What's even more amusing is that even if his swords were on his back legs like they logically should be the way his body is designed he'd still have trouble drawing them, the best way to salvage this design with as few changes as possible is to reverse his arm armor/sheathes so the hilst stick out over his hands. He might actually be able to draw one without cheating then.

I like Samurott, but I don't get why they put those shell swords on it. It looks awkward to use. When I saw Samurott I thought its helmet horn was supposed to be like its sword, it looks less awkward to fight with. The swords make it look like they couldn't commit to it being a quadruped.
