No...they skipped it. For the series, and franchise's American finale, the did a movie called "Leroy and Stitch." Leroy is the name given to experiment 629; the last experiment created by Jumba Juciba.

About that, "American Franchise" thing...apparently there's a Japanese anime called "Stitch." It's a spin-off/ continuation of what happens to stitch years later.

According to the wiki, Stitch winds up on a tropical island...Not Hawaii this time....and meets up with a little girl....not Lilo...and has to do...something....I skimmed it.

I did read that in the first two seasons, there is little to no mention of Lilo. In the third, she makes a cameo to reunite with him, but only for a short while. Apparently, she left for college and didn't take Stitch with her. Upon reuniting, it's revealed that she is all grown up, and even has a young daughter who looks just like young Lilo.

Not gonna lie. It kind of broke my heart to read that. ;_;

Link to the episode for anyone interested. The anime got an english dub....and it's sad. They try to recreate the voiced, but fail. Not miserably, but, it's still bad. And Stitch speaks in full coherent sentences now...it's taking some getting used to.

We got it (Stitch!, not PPGZ) in New Zealand. A bit like Let's Go Quintuplets which received a full dub (even this was dubbed) and aired here, but there's no record of the English dub airing anywhere else in the world (that doesn't mean it didn't, but there's no record of it having done so anywhere than New Zealand)

It was quite popular in the Netherlands, but they had their own dub and the Taiwanese dub got a full DVD release, but that was dubbed from the Japanese version rather than the English localization like the other dubs.

Unfortunately the series has the dubious honour of being known mostly amongst omorashi/pee desperation fetishists owing to the character (coincidentally voiced by Ikue Ohtani in Japanese) Mikan who had a running gag of wetting herself at inopportune times. Unlike her kiss, that was cut from the dub.

Lilo didn't abandon Stitch, she went to college for a couple of years and made a promise with Stitch to meet on the beach when she returned. She didn't show up on the day they had promised, so Stitch left Hawaii in sorrow and despair, starting the entire Stitch! series. However, it was shown that Lilo really DID show up, only a few hours after Stitch had left. She was late because Nani was having a baby that same day... Oh boy did Lilo cry in that scene... If only Stitch had been more patient, none of this would have happened.

Yes they did, but they got fired for what is probably the worst excuse they could ever have come up with; bad karaoke. They work for Hamsterville now because they have nthing else to do, not because they're really "evil" anymore. At least that's what the wiki told me..

I also read that Angle ditched Stitch in favour of 627, and later Reuben, before returning to Stitch again, who thought nothing of it. Boy, Stitch really has no self esteem.

Just got done watching it...

It was really fucking cringy. All the voices were off, the animation was a mix of the original show mid-2000's cheap anime. It suffered from Dub Syndrome, where things were obviously changed and rewritten to better suit an English speaking audience

But, it did make me genuinely sad. Not cringe-sad either. Like, actually sad.

So apparently, yes, Lilo left for college. At the exact same time, the Galactic Alliance sent Stitch on some nondescript mission. They agreed to meet back in 4 years. 4 years later, he shows up, but she doesn't. Stitch gets depressed, takes his old stolen police cruiser on a joy ride, winds up crashing it in his current home.

Lilo's excuse was that Nani was having a baby and wasn't able to make it. By the time she got there, stitch had already been long gone.

Lilo's daughter, who was never given a name, is the one who found Stitch. They spend the day playing together, Stitch not even realizing that it isn't actually Lilo. They somehow get separated but the daughter runs into Mama-Lilo and says she found Stitch. Mama-Lilo doesn't believe her. She persists, but Lilo says that even if it was him "I don't want to see him, not right now." She's too busy with her life to try to catch up.

Stitch runs to the airport, and reaches them at the last second. Pic >>26322170 is of Mama-Lilo, Baby No-Name Lilo, and Stitch at the airport before they're about to board.

Lilo exclaims how much she's missed him, explains her side of the story, yada-yada-yada.

It ends bitter-sweetly with them hugging, and her saying that she'll see him again soon, Because that promise worked out so well the first time... and to take care of his new Ohana.

Ok, I guess Lilo is forgiven....But my heart's still hurt.
