>tfw TPCi will never release the subbed jap version on dvd
>tfw PocketMonsters is literally the only english group subbing the anime
Why did this show take so long just to get ANY fansubs?
>>26297667
Well Pokemon came out long before internet subs did. The technology just wasn't there. There might have been some people who used to do VHS subs. Pokemon subs didn't become popular until the second half of AG and we also have the revival in terms of popularity to thank for our current subs.
While it's a no-brainer that ANY anime should be released with subs in this day in age, sadly there is little to no fuss on the internet about it, so I don't really see it happening anytime soon.
Dude, TPC hasn't released it on DVD in Japan.
They get rental volumes, and select retail releases.
Aside from 5 Gold Silver volumes, there were a few DP releases and one Hoenn release.
I say this as someone who's collected a lot of these releases, give up on hope now. Jynx and Porygon make any sort of complete release impossible, anyways.

There actually were VHS fansubs back in the day This is where the 'Butterfree died' originated from.

I wish I could have seen it
I miss the before times

>tfw worked on new softsubs for a few months
>tfw translator fucked right off
>tfw overcome by depression and pocket monsters raw files
I tried so hard...

I tried looking for oldschool PM fansubs last year, or maybe it was two, and could only find remnants of Porygon.
That's the one problem with P2P, being reliant on peers.

What are you talking about, PM has subbed more than half of Kanto, and it's all on their tracker.

The Dratini episode is pretty hard to find in any condition
