I do agree that power levels are kinda fucked right now. It's okay since Greninja hasn't been able to go full power again after Diantha and Ash was out of it during this latest battle, but logically if they get back to vs Diantha strenght and remove the fainting limitation, nothing in Kalos short of Perfect Zygarde should be able to stop Ash Greninja at that point.

Damn, I prefer when Satoshi goes full keikaku and shows battle ability. Compared to XY where Satoshi was almost unmatched and could turn heavily disadvantageous situations in his favor, XY&Z had Satoshi make a lot of plot-oriented obvious mistakes. Onvern vs. Metang, then Onvern vs. Nidangill, and Luchabul vs. a Pokemon that is HIGHLY likely to have Ice Beam. The plot is currently bringing Satoshi a few seasons back.
