Is anyone expecting a new game changing mechanic like mega evolution or a new type? Or just something more than just new Pokemon.
The direct said "it all comes together" and yet I've seen very little speculation on this. I know /vp/ really just wants the starters and box legends bc we're so deprived but there may be even more than we are hoping for from this trailer.
While there's still time for speculation, what do you think it means /vp/? Multiple regions? Several returning characters? Trainer fusions??? Maybe even in game waifus ?????

I expect Solgaleo and Lunaala to have alternate forms. Not anything game-changing, just alternate forms.
I expect Zygarde, if we ever get Pokémon Z, to have something completely new, yet similar to Mega Evolution, akin to how Primal Reversion was. Something that makes Zygarde change forms like it does in the anime; beams of green light (Cells) flying down to it, it envelops itself in a green light and bursts out in a similar fashion to how Mega Evolved Pokémon do right after they've Mega Evolved.

I expect some fucking reboot of the main game mechanics. If the game remains with no changes and the same broken stuff, then I'm done with it.
Maybe an action-RPG twist over the old turn-based gameplay would be nice too.

I have the same feeling, the words they use makes it feel like something new and big is coming. I don't like the idea, but I'm guessing that fusions are a possibility.
