I've seen it happen before. Where there's an initial announcement and hype, but then the hype dies as no new info comes. What should be a respite like CoroCoro only end in disappointment, and little imps like Timmy run around crying wolf. At first people are just annoyed, but then they start going crazy with shit like owlposting. And it only gets worse from there. People start to forget what they were hyped about in the first place, or what hype even means.

I guess it's like cabin fever.
