>People on /vp/ constantly accusing Gamefreak of "furry-pandering"
>Thinking an ultra kid-friendly company like Nintendo would ever allow Gamefreak to pander a bunch of perverted degenerates like internet furries

Yeah man, no super kid-friendly company would ever do anything to furry-pander to children!

That isn't furry-pandering either.
Talking animals have been around forever. Dumb perverts on the internet are the ones who are sexually everything.

>bunch of perverted degenerates like internet furries
You do realize that not all furries take it in a sexual way right?

The first trailer pretty much made it super clear that the movie is 100% aware of the furry subculture, talks about anthropomorphism right off the bat. This isn't 90s anymore, you really think big companies like Disney and GameFreak don't realize where all the fanart is coming from? Nevermind the fact that PR agents openly referred to furries on Tweeter and encouraged them to see the film. If it's child friendly enough and appeals to certain groups more they don't care.
That's exactly what happened to MLP too by the way, brony pandering.
