Why is being a grassfag so hard?
>supposed to be the type made to dole out status effects, but near every Pokemon can learn Toxic
>Stun Spore inferior to Thunder Wave in every way
>Near no distribution on Spore (though this makes sense thematically)
>Water types are actually more efficient on spreading Burn
>GF keeps attempting to make bulky grass types when grass' only claim to fame as a defensive type is resisting Ground
>terrible as an offensive type and the most common downfall of Grass Pokemon is absolutely zero coverage despite it making plenty of sense for them to learn Earth Power
>meanwhile Water Pokemon get Ice moves out the ass
>No innate buff in Sun or Rain when they should have passive Chlorophyll or Leaf Guard (Solar Beam isn't enough, and Fire Pokemon also happen to learn it)
>Worst of all GF keeps pushing the fire type starters while grass Pokemon continue to get the shit end of the stick
>Three (3) grass Megas compared to the 5 Fire Megas and 5 Water Megas
I love Grass Pokemon but it's plain as day that GF doesn't. I shouldn't have to have Return on near all my ingame grass starter movesets because they don't learn anything that isn't some form of Absorb until the late 30's.

My very first shiny was an oddish. I was playing Gold version and the screen did a weird thing and there were some sparkles on the oddish. I had already beaten all 8 gyms and was wandering around looking for the Waterfall HM because I was a dumb kid and didn't find it when I was supposed to. I caught that oddish and evolved it into a Bellossom because I had a sunstone but not a leafstone. I didn't know until years later that I had something really special, it was just a big mystery to me until late 2004.
