It just annoys me that Zygarde's wings are 2 red and 2 blue, instead of 1 red and 1 orange on one side and 1 blue and 1 cyan on the other. The fact that it doesn't match up with the Cores in its chest really grinds my OCD gears.

There's only Red Core and Blue Core. Although if I remember correctly, the description about Squishy (Zygarde Red Core) is that it communicates with other Cores (not the singular Blue Core). It specifies and implies that there are multiple Cores and not just the two although it'd only take two to make Perfect Zygarde.

A long time ago Zygrarde 100% was defeated in battle, collapsing, and was sealed in the cave. The shape of the cave is where his body lay as he slowly dissolved to cells, he slowlt began to regenerate in the cave, but we found him halfway through

I was referring to when they introduced all the forms on the Pokemon website along with Ashninja. It was on the website that they implied more than two even though there's only Red and Blue and they only showed the one there.

The Blue Core wasn't shown until a bit later after Red was introduced and before either appeared in the anime.

I believe it was shown that the Red Core could restore a forest while they had Blue Core go 50% on multiple occasions although that might just be to fight off assailants.

Color-wise, it might be that Red is opposite of Yveltal and Blue is opposite of Xerneas.

That's hilarious. I remember taking that exact screenshot and marking it like 2 months ago and posting it on a random forum, thinking it was somewhat odd to show those 2 among the other 15-20 Pokemon in the Kalos war. There's also a part in the garden of the Perfume Palace (which is actually based on Palace of Versailles of the French Sun King) which resembles a Solrock. References to the sun were thrown all over the place in the Kalos region, and a few here and there were about the moon or space-stuff in general (the Kalos region being shaped like a star and an observatory-gym being located in the same town as the Sundial). Is this possibly GF's attempt to make the deepest and best Pokemon games of all time? Getting a new gen game where we'd get Emerald, Platinum and BW2 instead of the "unfinished" RS, DP, BW and XY right of the bat and combining the plots of 2 different gens would be really nice.

Yeah sure because we didn't know and only assumed that Zygarde also had control over the Primals. That doesn't make sense, as Rayquaza is the one who has control over those two.
