I actually never came on here except for one time during the time X and Y were being leaked because some stores broke the street date and I stayed for a bit in that thread to check out what other Pokemon were in the games. I left when the thread got overly spoilery though but I actually started coming here around the announcement of Sun and Moon, mostly out of curiosity. I knew that 4chan didn't have much of a good reputation on the internet but I said fuck it, it surely can't be that bad. Low and behold I'm browsing for about 5 minutes and see a ton of people using derogatory and racial slurs in every other comment, falsely using the term autism and autistic, and generally just being unpleasant. I did stay though because sometimes there was actual discussion about the franchise, until of course the owl shit started and it just became hell to browse on here without seeing pointless arguments every other thread. I'm just hoping that the starters don't turn out to be those just so those arguments can fucking end and this place could go back to being semi-unpleasant.

ive been on 4chan for almost a decade, not that im necessarily proud of that, and I used to dabble on /b/ when I started like most of us, these days I usually troll /adv/ or go on /pol/, maybe /co/, and sometimes if I want a real tasty laugh /mu/ or trash.

i found out 4chan has a pokemon board wayyy too late for someone who uses this site as much as I did, and I started lurking hard during the pre XY season, now it's just the same shit every day, but damned if I dont love it. great way to take a break from the chaos and responsibility of life with a bunch of retards all centered around my favorite franchise from childhood - I usually make reaction images like pic related and try to engage in the least stupid discussions possible on here

PS all the gens are great, in fact, gen VI was one of my favorite games in a long time, pokemon or otherwise, really breathed new love for this longtime series into me

/vp/ is only enjoyable when we have new shit to hype up, and the few months after said new game comes out, but especially the former. Hype season is a wild ride full of fun shitposting and hype leak threads, and of course the fake leak threads. But this time around so far is the worst hype season yet, and it's solely due to owlfags. Trolling or not, it's fucking obnoxious and I can't wait for them to get btfo.

Well /vp/ made me a furfag and generally started me down the road of degeneracy not long after I started going to it back when it first opened up in 2010. That's the most of note thing.

Any vestige of quality or even decent entertainment on this board was lost sometime not long after the XY reveal, so I only still go here out of sheer boredom and need for mindless stimulation. Or to dump retarded theories. Yes, I realize I'm not helping the problem of the board being shit.
