I don't feel like IDs are necessary since tripcodes in combination with autofill address most identification issues.

However, I do think the board being spammed by all these fake leaks should be addressed. Whether it falls on the mods to act on them as they would on more pressing rule violations or on us to ignore them with the aid of IDs, something needs to be done about them, since they're a cancer discouraging board activity.

More janitors might solve the problem if they actually act on fake leaks threads, or if a new policy is instated where anything pertaining to fakemons are forced into ONE general and someone making a separate thread for purportedly new mons must have a source (e.g. Serebii) in the OP.

We would require on-the-clock mod activity or some site tool to monitor posting but it would fix things.
