I'm getting tired of Nuzlocke, what other self-imposed rules or run styles do you do to make Pokemon more fun?
Try using pokemon that all share the same type
start battling online
Mono-type.
Single 'mon run.
Roleplay run.
Randomized encounters/trainers/etc.
Only use Pokemon below a certain BST threshold.

Solo Runs.
Solo runs mother fucker
I am about to embark on a Mankey only run through all the generations and its gonna bewild

N Run
Catch pokemon, raise them until the next gym, release them after you win, repeat.
Keeping your starter is optional.
>>26145585
stall run
no attacking moves allowed, you must force your enemies to struggle to death

Wonder Trade in some Pokemon, the six traded in are your team, fainted mons get traded for a new random one.
I usually get shitmons, but getting a breeding reject is a god send.

That's retarded
Color run
I just finished a run of X with only blue mons, though it practically wound up being a solo golurk run,
Only use pokes same color as starter, or pick a different starter. Wonder trade for early team help. I had a dratini/Dragonair for most of the game, but she kept trying to become a derponite, so I switched her for xerneas cause I've never used it. Used it once, during E4 when Brolurk got dragon tailed out of combat. Moon blast and done.

I like this idea.
I have a lot of fun going through only with Pokemon I've never used before.

maybe for a scrub like you
>>26145585
I just play difficulty hacks.
>>26145585
Do a Monotype Run or a NU Run which is self-explanatory.

Shiiieeeet
That's hardcore
Don't evolve anything.
Don't use anything that doesn't evolve.
No-TMs (with HMs being allowed for field use only) runs can be fun.
Just don't do it in gen 1 unless you hate yourself.
Play with a friend.
You can trade exclusives and battle, and overall the game becomes more fun.
